The Mercy Hospital Freedom Program is a community-based preventive care program offering the availability of discount drugs to patients who participate in its preventive health program. The Mercy Freedom Program is voluntary and is designed for patients with chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol and other conditions requiring long-term medication. 
It offers patients a preventive care management plan following U.S. Preventive Care Taskforce Medical Road Maps and access to deeply discounted prescription medications. Program savings are up to 60% off retail prices for FDA-approved, name brand drugs. The medications are shipped directly to patient's homes.
