Bringing a child into the world is a long remembered experience. At Mercy Hospital’s Childbirth Education and Lactation Center, we consider it a privilege to be a part of this special time in your family’s life.
As an expectant parent, you probably have thousands of questions. You might wonder about your body, your baby’s development, or how to care for your little one. Even if you are already a parent, you may feel the need for a “refresher course.” Mercy Hospital’s Maternity Center offers classes on everything from deciding to have a baby to delivery and beyond – whether you’re a parent – to – be or a soon to be grandparent.
Mercy Hospital ’s Childbirth Preparation Classes will help you understand the miracle in progress. Classes include the following:
- Childbirth Preparation Classes (Lamaze)
- Preparation for Planned Cesarean Birth
- Infant CPR & Home Safety
- Baby Care
- Class Registration Form
- Calendar
After the birth of your baby, the Center also provides private breastfeeding consultations and specialized products for the new family including breast pumps for sale or rent. The staff at the Center give individualized care and instruction to mothers who wish to breastfeed by setting them up with the appropriate products.
